PRIVACY POLICY

Bridges Outreach places a high priority on protecting your privacy. This privacy policy was created in order to demonstrate Bridges’ firm commitment to the privacy of our donors, supporters and website users.  This policy explains what types of information is collected by the Bridges’ website, bridgesoutreach.org, and through all other methods, and how this information is used.

What Personally Identifiable Information is Collected

Individuals who (i) register at bridgesoutreach.org, (ii) sign up to receive Bridges Outreach e-communications and/or (iii) donate to, volunteer with or otherwise support Bridges voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name and email address, postal address, phone number, and credit or debit card info). We may use this information only for specific, limited purposes described below.

How Your Information May Be Used

We use your information to provide you with personalized service, to send email alerts to you, to answer your requests, to mail information or donation requests to you, to schedule and arrange a street outreach Run, etc. We may also use your on-line information to track visitors to our website. This lets us see which of our features are the most popular so we can better serve users’ needs. It also lets us provide aggregate data about our traffic (not identifying you personally, but showing how many visitors used which features, for example) to outside parties. You may choose to opt out at any time as described below, which will cease all communications from us.

Modifications

We may amend this privacy policy from time to time; please review it periodically.  We maintain the option to modify this policy at any time by electronic notice posted on our website.  Your continued use of our website after the date that such notices are posted will be deemed to be your agreement to the changed terms.

IP Addresses

Bridges Outreach uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer bridgesoutreach.org, and for statistical metrics to track website visitor traffic.

External Links

bridgesoutreach.org includes links to external websites. These links do not fall under the bridgesoutreach.org domain and Bridges Outreach is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of external websites. Your use of any linked website is solely at your own risk.

Use of Third-Party Software

Bridges employs several third parties to provide software services. While we make every attempt to ensure the security of these programs and platforms, Bridges cannot be held accountable for security breaches

Cookies

bridgesoutreach.org uses “cookie” messages to automatically help provide better services. They remind us who you are and your preferences for our website based on what you’ve done and told us before. The “cookie” is placed on your computer and read when you come back to our website. Cookies let us take you to the information and features you’re particularly interested in. They also let us track your usage of bridgesoutreach.org so we know which parts of our site are most popular. You can reject cookies or cancel them by changing the preferences or settings on your web browser. If you choose to disable cookies, you will still be able to use our website. However, you will not be able to fully take advantage of certain automation and other functionality features available.

Bridges Outreach does not trade, share, or sell any donor or supporter information to anyone outside the organization, nor will we send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, except: (i) to provide products or services you’ve requested through us; (ii) in response to a validly-issued subpoena, court order, or other legal process; (iii) when necessary to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal action; or (iv) where you request us to do so.
